life as it is

Here I sit at 7:42 pm on a Wednesday night waiting for the George Strait live concert at 8pm on channel 7 news (LA). I sit here listening to Sam Hunt and Little Big Town on my laptop while Anthony is on his laptop signing up for music classes at CMC. It will be so awesome having everyone in the house going to CMC. Brenda and I are going for our careers and Cesar is going to get his High School Diploma and now Anthony is going to get a degree in Music so he can learn to play the guitar. Freddie, his brother, is going to send him one of his guitar, it will be cool. I am so looking forward to next semester, it will be less core class and more electives, so I will enjoy them much more.

I sat down with Brenda tonight and went on assist.org and found out what classes I need to take before going San Bernardino college. I am still taking my online classes which I figured out are 4 classes a semester along with the 3-4 classes I will be taking at the campus. I really enjoy doing the homework and all the reading I get to do. I am starting to feel like my life is starting to have some kind of meaning. It has been a long lost time for me. Not sure what I want to do to fill up my timing since I can't work. I was suppose to an internship with the college but they have not called me even though I spoke with the teacher organizing the internships. He says he has to find a place for me, so while I wait I just do what I do every day and that is homework.

I miss my children and grandchildren. I really wish I would have done this when the boys were little then maybe they would have been more eager to continue their education as well. I do think I show some examples to my grandbabies by going back to school and showing them it can be done. I want to spend some time with Vincent and talk to him about going to college and how important it is. No one can get much of anywhere without a degree now and he needs to know this as well as Roman.

I am so glad Brenda got her DJ gig. I hope they will be playing for New Year's cause that is where we will be spending this new years. It will be one wild and grand party at the hookah lounge with all our friends and family around and a real night out for us. One thing will be for sure Anthony will not have any reason not to take me out this year. I have this awesome silver low cut dress that I just brought and great jewelry to go with it.

I am really starting to get my clothe together to be looking very business like for school. I have four blazers now and three vests, along with some nice tops to go with some of the skirts I have and my shoes, I really don't have many choices there, but I will in time. I have some new jewelry but I still need to get some more. I have purses as well so I have those changes there.

Well I think this enough for now, it is getting later and I still have a few things left to type up and help Anthony with his registration.

Day 5 .. where did 3 & 4 go??

Ok well I feel like the fool today. I just spent time making what I thought was a blog for here but turned out to be for a different account I have.

Well it sure is going by fast, time that is. I last left everyone on day 2 and I did not have a chance to update for day 3 & 4. But here we are now on day 5 and what a good day it is.

I have been spending time with Anthony, well what ever time I can, he has been done a lot lately, not feeling well. The weather sure doe not help him any. It has gone from 90-100 degree days to 70 -75 degree days and the night time has been even colder.

I have finally got caught up with my online class, well I have 2 assignments I have to do a re-do in but I am thankful I am able to do the re-do's. I have said from day one that I am not good at biology but I guess I am a little better then I thought since I am getting b's in the class, minus the 2 zero's I got n the re-do's. lol.

Well I will write more tonight after I get more things accomplished, till then Laters!!

Day 2 around the corner

Well pepples, today is day 2 and the world is still full of chaos. Trump airlines is offering free one way tickets to those who said they would leave America if Trump became our new president. If is a bit funny but it has to be taken seriously. The protesters are trashing the cities and setting buildings on fire all in the name of Hilary Clinton. People can no longer protest peacefully even though they are the ones screaming that we are doomed to be at risk of ISIS and immigrants ruining this nation. It is offensive to know that such people exist in this world.  

I was suppose to be at a concert for Brad Paisley tonight but as usual my husband was too ill to with me. I did not want to go without him because I want to share what first I have left with him but he did not feel like going. It would have been my first concert. I did not feel right going to the concert with him feeling so sick, he said he would try but like I told him I do not want my first experience to be with angry feelings. That is how I would be feeling. angry that the only reason he came with me was so I could attend my first concert. I would be angry because the whole time I would be worried about him olus I could tell he had a migraine and I knew he could not take the music. I would be sitting there the whole time looking at him and checking on him and i would regret going and I do not want regrets in my life. 

My daughter Brenda came over tonight after work. I made a flyer for her new DJ gig and she wants to tear it up. I told her the flyer I made for has more pop and more color then any of his other flyer he made for other DJ's. It is really cute I think. She wants to change the picture and and font size and well pretty much everything I did for her. Oh well that is kids for you I guess. OOPS I used the word kid, which my English professor would be all upset, lol. I guess that is part of bad grammar now. 

So that is my night. From a country rocking good ole country concert to sitting here at 10:00 p.m. chopping up a flyer that I felt works very well for her. But I am only mom so what do I know.

Anthony is making me pizza that we can share. I need to eat something, but I have gained so much weight I do not even want to eat. I know I can never lose weight by not eating but I am not doing anything to get the exercise I need. I ask my daughter to borrow her treadmill to get a start on walking but she does not want to share it and is not looking to get rid of it but she barely uses it. I know I would walk on it at least 30 minutes a day if not longer. Oh well I guess I will just have to get one when I get my next distribution in Feb 2017.

Well off I go to chop up a flyer, eat some pizza and then start jamming on my homework, it will probably be an all niter.  Till we meet again, see ya all laters.

  

Day 1

Well pepples, today is the first of hopefully many more blogs to come. We have made a turn in history by electing a citizen for president, instead of electing a politician. Donald Trump is our new president to take place in January in 2017. He was running against Hillary Clinton, whom has already been in office she just used her husband as the face during his term as president. So many people have said they were going to leave the USA if Trump was elected as president but so far I have heard nothing about them leaving. 

I got a call from Google the other day asking if I would like to have advertising on my blog and I told them I did not have one but was interested in starting one, so here we are.Since I am a full time student and a mom and especially a wife to a wonderful man, then these are the things I am going to be talking about. I will give everyone current updates about what life is like going back to school at my age and the process I make along the way. 

Well lets see what I can tell you about school for now. I have been going to school online for the last 2 years and in May of 2017 I will have my AA in arts and ethnics. I just started this semester at the college campus we have here in Joshua Tree, called Copper Mountain College. I have been doing my prerecs to start college courses. I have English, Reading, and Computer (Microsoft office) . I have learned a great deal in my English class, how to write papers (research, rant, compare and contrast, exemplification and even movie reviews) I am really excited because not only do I know MLA but I also know how to write and APA paper. I love my teacher in reading, Lisa Cutlure. She has taught me so much and encourages her student to the point that I feel like I could not fail her class or any others. She encourages you to also work on other things in class if the are due and she will review them and help you if need be. Wonderful, great teacher. My English professor, Mr. Robert Wanless, is also a great teacher because he makes you look inside of yourself for words and teaches you how to input those words into papers. It is so awesome. My computer teacher, Mrs. Chelbik is a fine teacher. She has taught me so many new tricks on the computer it is great. 

Speaking of school I have to go now so I can finish my Biology labs right now.
